Dream Machines is back for 2025!
What is it? Dream Machines is an annual event in Half Moon Bay, CA at the airport. It is a display of all things motorized and interesting. You will see Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Airplanes, Helicopters, Tractors, Military vehicles, Monster truck rides, and all kinds of other cool motorized gadgets. There will be food, live music, an air show, airplane rides, motorcycle stunts, vendors, and lots to do for the entire family. This event is a fund raiser for the Coast Side Day Program which helps the elderly in San Mateo County by providing support to those elderly in need.
When is it? The event is from 10-4pm on Sunday, April 27th
Where is it? At the Half Moon Bay Airport on Highway 1 on the coast (location)
What is ACBS’s involvement in the show? After an amazing inaugural year in 2023 where our chapter wowed everyone with an amazing display of wood and chrome, we are back again and looking for the club to make it an even better showing! As a reminder, this event is a boats on trailer show. We will have the ACBS booth in front and will be actively trying to recruit new members to join ACBS. We anticipate a large number of our boats on display.
Can I bring my boat and set it up the day before? Absolutely! Mark has made arrangements for us to bring in the boats between 8:30-4:00 PM on Saturday April 27th. The window of time is strictly managed as this is a functioning airport and as such normal security access controls are in place. Thereafter, our boats will be in a locked airport facility with regular security on site. For those cannot come prior to the day of the show, your boat needs to be in place between 06:30-09:30 AM (gate opens at 06:30) on Sunday morning. In 2023, the lines for getting in were long and the logistics of maneuvering trailers as the show vehicles filled in is a nightmare, so PLEASE plan accordingly.
Can I leave my tow vehicle at the show? Yes! We can leave our tow vehicles behind our boats, they will arrange a spot.
What if I just want to go without a boat? No problem, we would love to have you join us and help promote ACBS. You are welcome to spend the night and join us for dinner or you can just show up on the day of the show. Help is always appreciated in setting everything up on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning during the move-in.
When do I need to sign up by? ASAP! The sooner the better for us because the event organizer needs to plan the space out for all the boats. We will need your approximate length and width and bio/pictures ASAP for planning purposes. They will be using our boat photos and descriptions in their flyers, programs, and marketing campaigns.
How do I sign up? Please use this link DREAM MACHINES 2025 to register your boat on the site. This will get you tickets for two for the show and registration. When it asks for what type of vehicle, please put in ACBS-BOAT in the description, thanks. Please also sign up on the ACBS NorCal Website for the event, as we need some additional information, pictures, and a brief (2 sentences) BIO of your boat. Please email Mark Walick ([email protected]) 2 pictures of your boat along with your boat’s name.
Who are the event coordinators for the event if I have additional questions? Mark Walick ([email protected], 408.550.5564) and John Wichmann ([email protected])

Like last time, there will be a buffet ($28.95 and includes non-alcoholic beverages) as well as the ability to order off of their menu. If you would like to order alcohol, it will be a separate charge and added to your bill.
Cameron’s has quite an interesting history and everyone enjoyed their time at this unique building in 2023.
How do I sign up for the 5:30pm dinner on Saturday night at Cameron’s English Pub? When you sign up for the event, there will also be the option to confirm for dinner and whether you want the BBQ Buffet or ordering from the general menu. While they will be seating us together as a group, you will be responsible for your own tab. The earlier you sign up for the event, the sooner we can give them an accurate count so they can accommodate our club!
